This
afternoon we had our second community general assembly at citio compound. The
theme of our assembly was, POWER UP
PANAGAAN 2016: Para sa paglambo sa atong pinanggang barangay. The activity
aims to increase the knowledge of the community people about POWER UP PANGAAN
and to secure participation among the community on the implementation of POWER
UP PANAGAAN. It started at 1:30pm and was attended by a total number of 53
residents, headed by the Kagawad for Health and Purok Leaders at citio compound
senior citizens hall. An interpurok mass blood pressure taking with health
teaching on the prevention and control of hypertension was also conducted
during the said activity. The assembly was composed of two parts, first, the
presentation of POWER UP PANAGAAN 2016, and second, the full month plan of
activities. An open forum and early registration for various activities was
also conducted at the end of every topic, to determine whether the plans or
activities are socially acceptable, attainable and appropriate. The
participants exhibited cooperation and attentiveness as they contributed to the
overall success of the assembly.
